As we reach a certain age, we see ourselves as invincible. “We young! Not a thing can stop us.” We go on live life reckless and daring—but to ourselves and each other, we just having fun. And most of us grow older blessed to have never faced such tragedy or suffer the repercussions of what otherwise could have happened like the events in this video.
Sad part is that we acknowledge the severity of what we do, but we do nothing to curb our actions. Hell, some of us take pride in ourselves or our friends and be let allowed the keys. Only after real shit happens to our being are we conditioned to reconsider our pride and consider the consequences of the heightened risks we impose upon ourselves and others within our propinquity by partaking in the stupid ass situations in which we find and put ourselves.
Use your head, not your pride. Arrive and alive. Do what you must, but never forget that you are not invincible. There may be the reality in your mind’s eyes that everything will be alright, but don’t disregard the shit that really happens.
On a lighter note, damn this shit is well done to a damn crisp!
